Islamic Beliefs (Aqaa’id)

Year: 1st

Textbook: al-Baab al-Haadi Ashar by Allamah Hilli, English translation

Aqaa’id is the plural of the Arabic word Aqeedah, which means belief. So Aqaa’id is the study of the fundamental beliefs of Islam, i.e. the oneness of God, and the concepts of Prophethood, Imaamat, and the Day of Judgement. In this class, students learn some of the basic logical and textual proofs for our beliefs regarding these concepts.
